RENTON, Wash. – The Seattle Seahawks announced today special gameday offerings for the 2024 season. The Seahawks will open the regular season at home on Sunday, September 8 vs. the Denver Broncos, with kickoff at 1:05 p.m. PT. The team will take the field wearing its throwback uniforms.
Gates will open two hours before kickoff for general ticket holders and three for Club Level and Suite ticket holders. The first 12,000 fans in Ticketmaster Tailgate will receive an exclusive Devon Witherspoon throwback poster. The game will also feature a special halftime performance featuring Tag Team & DJ Kool, presented by Coke Zero Sugar. Tag Team is best known for the 90s hit, "Whoomp! (There it is)."
Kickoff Week Activities
The Seahawks will celebrate the "Countdown to Kickoff" with a variety of events all week, including a Block Party on Thursday, September 5. Join the team at the Amazon Day 1 Playfield in South Lake Union from 8 a.m. – 2 p.m. to enjoy special activities including skee-ball, putt putt golf, photo-ops, and shopping at a Seahawks Pro Shop pop-up. Blitz, Seahawks Legends and Seahawks Dancers will be in attendance, and fans will enjoy exciting giveaways while supplies last. Home Taste Advantage - Specialty Food & Beverage
New this season from First & Goal Hospitality and Levy, fans will enjoy the delicious choices from the venue's food and beverage program, Home Taste Advantage. Featured items for 2024 include smash burgers and a Cajun fried shrimp basket from "Bam Bam Smash Burger," created in collaboration with Seahawks Legend Kam Chancellor and his restaurant Legion Sports bar; modern Asian cuisine from local restaurant Bar Dojo including steamed dumplings and birria ramen; as well as gameday favorites with an upscale twist including butter chicken wings, a pork belly burnt ends bowl, Frito pie nachos and a teriyaki short rib sandwich. Fanovation
The Seahawks continue to debut new Fanovation at Lumen Field, including the official opening of the team's new Club Level lounge, the T-Mobile Endzone. Formerly the Ring of Honor Lounge, the new T-Mobile Endzone features a 2,625 square-foot sports bar complete with an 11' x 60' Mitsubishi 1.9mm High-Definition LED wall behind the bar. The T-Mobile Endzone serves featured cocktails, beer, and wine on gameday, and is open to all Delta Sky360° Club Level ticket holders. The Seahawks will also celebrate the opening of The 1976 Club, a new suite offering featuring open-air loge boxes located within the T-Mobile Endzone.
New this season, T-Mobile customers will be able to unlock exclusive gameday perks with Magenta Status. Fans displaying their Magenta Pass will have access to an exclusive T-Mobile Customer Entrance outside of Gate 5. Just beyond the T-Mobile Entrance will be T-Mobile's Club Magenta, which will offer Magenta Pass holders one complimentary beverage and snack, while supplies last, from gates open to kickoff. This offseason, Lumen Field also worked with Diversified, a global leader in audiovisual and media innovation, to facilitate the installation of a new state-of-the-art stadium sound system from d&b Audiotechnik. The new system consists of 12 cardioid line arrays, 48 subwoofers, dozens of fill speakers and array processing to greatly enhance clarity, music fidelity, and low frequency impact. During the design and installation process, specific planning went into placing speakers in locations that sonically fit to the stadium's architecture. In an effort to get fans back to the game faster, the Seahawks and Lumen Field have expanded the venue's use of Amazon’s Just Walk Out technology. The team has added five new Fly Thru Market locations serving a variety of drinks. Leveraging the innovative Just Walk Out solution, new Fly Thru Markets were added in sections 114, 304, 310, 334 and 340. A new Pro Shop Retail Outlet powered with Amazon Just Walk Out technology will also be added next to section 123. With these additions, Lumen Field now has 13 concession and two retail locations powered by Amazon Just Walk Out technology, the most of any sports venue in the world.
Pregame Activities in Ticketmaster Tailgate
Ticketmaster Tailgate is the pregame destination for fans of all ages, opening three hours prior to kickoff in the Lumen Field Event Center. Fans can explore the all-new "neighborhood" layout including Downtown, for the main stage and live entertainment, Uptown for kid-friendly fun featuring the Seahawks Flag Football Zone, and Ballard for photo ops and Pro Shop pop-up. In the Cap Hill neighborhood, fans will find a sports bar and lounge area alongside Alki Beach, which features the Seahawks Gaming Zone. Fans can also try the Ticketmaster Tailgate Taste-Off, where each home game two concession items will go head-to-head for $12 each to see which one is still standing at the end of the season.
