Seattle Seahawks Launch New Gaming Club – Seahawks Sandbox

New gaming community to feature weekly tournaments and content.

RENTON, Wash. – The Seattle Seahawks announced today the launch of a new gaming community – Seahawks Sandbox, which will feature a regular cadence of weekly tournaments and content for the 12s. The Seahawks are continuing their partnership with gaming platform provider Rival to formally establish the tournament side of this gaming community. Utilizing Rival technology, Seahawks Sandbox will be a destination for Seahawks fans to communicate, compete, and earn rewards points that can be used to redeem exclusive team merchandise and prizes.

The Seahawks Sandbox platform will host 50 different tournaments throughout the season on Xbox, PlayStation, Switch, and PC. The community will feature 14 different popular sports, racing, battle royale, and fighting game titles.

Fans can begin earning points by registering with their gamertag at www.rivalgames.com/seahawks starting October 14. The Seahawks will host multiple featured tournaments with influencers and players, providing over $5,000 in prizes during the season.

The team will also launch a new Seahawks Sandbox YouTube channel, with content released throughout the year, making the Seahawks the first team in the NFL to launch a dedicated gaming YouTube channel. Seattle gamer and influencer Marcel "BasicallyIDoWrk" Cunningham will be dropping Sandbox content throughout the year. Influencer and 2x Madden Club Champion Daniel "Dcroft" Mycroft will be live streaming throughout the season against a weekly Seahawks opponent, matching up against prominent players in the Madden community. The NFL, EA Sports, and the Seahawks will also be adding featured influencer content to the new Seahawks Sandbox YouTube Channel.

For those looking for a less competitive experience, the Seahawks will host multiple Minecraft realms for fans to visit and build their very own Seahawks Minecraft community. Both Survival and Creative maps will be available for fans to explore and build with access via the Seahawks Rival Platform.
