For the second week in a row, a Seahawks player has taken home Rookie of the Week honors at NFL.com.
Running back Thomas Rawls was the recipient last week for his performance in Seattle's Week 13 win over the Minnesota Vikings. Now it's Tyler Lockett's turn after the wideout recorded a career-high 104 yards receiving and two touchdowns on six catches in this past Sunday's 35-6 road win over the Baltimore Ravens.
With his performance, Lockett, who was also the leading vote-getter in fan Pro Bowl balloting as a return specialist, joined Gale Sayers as the only two rookies in NFL history to have five touchdown receptions, a punt return touchdown, and a kick return touchdown in a season. The Week 14 effort brings Lockett's first-year receiving totals to 41 catches for 540 yards and five scores.
The rookie wideout wasn't the only Seahawk up for honors at NFL.com this week. Quarterback Russell Wilson was voted Air Player of Week 14 for the 292 yards and five touchdowns he threw for against the Ravens.
Week 14 proved to be another successful business trip for the Seahawks and team photographer Rod Mar shares some of his favorite moments from the weekend, including Coach Carroll's viral photo atop of the team lockers postgame.
