Thursday Practice Report: LB Bruce Irvin (Rib), DE Demarcus Dobbs (Back) & T Garry Gilliam (Rib) New Additions for Seahawks

Injury updates from Thursday's practice ahead of the Seahawks' Week 2 game against the Green Bay Packers.

The Seahawks are off the field following a "Turnover Thursday" practice at Renton's Virginia Mason Athletic Center with three more names on their injury report.

Linebacker Bruce Irvin (rib), defensive end Demarcus Dobbs (back), and tackle Garry Gilliam (rib) were the new additions, with Irvin and Dobbs not participating and Gilliam going on a limited basis. Seattle coach Pete Carroll hoped to see Tharold Simon back on Thursday, but the cornerback was held out for a second consecutive day. Running back Marshawn Lynch (not injury related) was a full participant Thursday after getting a rest day to start the week. Fullback Will Tukuafu (foot), linebacker Bobby Wagner (ankle), and defensive end Michael Bennett (ankle) also participated in full after practicing in limited fashion on Wednesday. And linebacker Mike Morgan (hamstring), who was injured in the team's third preseason game, has already been ruled out for Sunday.

For Green Bay, Bryan Bulaga (knee) was the only new addition as the offensive tackle participated on a limited basis. Safety Morgan Burnett (calf), wide receiver Randall Cobb (shoulder), and linebacker Jayron Elliott (quadriceps) were limited for a second straight day.
