Good afternoon, 12s.
Here's a look at what's "out there" for today — Thursday, June 15 — about your Seattle Seahawks:
Seahawks Rookies Serve Food To Those In Need
Seahawks rookies recently traded in their football jerseys for aprons.
Through Seattle's Union Gospel Mission and Seastar Restaurant and Raw Bar, the 2017 class greeted and served those in need alongside the restaurant's Chef and Owner, John Howie. Shaquill Griffin, Delano Hill and Cyril Grayson Jr., to name a few, were included in the group of rookies that served hot meals.
"It's something special, and it might not seem like a lot, but it means a lot to someone who hasn't ate," Griffin said. "I'm definitely glad to be here."
Added Grayson Jr: "We're a part of it (the Seattle community) and if we're able to give back, it's an obligation for us. Everyone is one day away from being in the same situation that they are and we're trying to give them hope that it's alright."
Tweet Of The Day
Today's "Tweet of the Day" comes from us, the Seahawks, who shared this behind the scenes video from the team's Monday photoshoot:
