Good morning, 12s.
Here's a look at what's "out there" for today — Tuesday, January 3— about your Seattle Seahawks:
Avril, Wagner Make Clayton's All-Pro List
ESPN Senior writer John Clayton put together his All-Pro roster for the 2016 NFL regular season.
Two Seahawks players made Clayton's list in defensive end Cliff Avril and linebacker Bobby Wagner, who are both coming off career-years.
Avril, who was named to his first Pro Bowl, posted a career-high 11.5 sacks with 39 tackles and five forced fumbles on the Seahawks' defensive front.
Avril had a career year with sacks (11.5) and big plays, but he is also on a mission. For every sack he records this season, he helps build a house for those still recovering from Hurricane Matthew in Haiti -- he's building a community.
Meanwhile, Wagner, who was also selected for the Pro Bowl, notched a career-high 167 tackles, which led the league and broke the Seahawks' single-season mark. He also recorded four-and-a-half sacks.
Wagner was everywhere. He blitzed, averaged more than 10 tackles a game and is a major force in the middle of the Seahawks' defense.
