Tuesday Round-Up: ESPN Insider Ranks Seahawks Most Complete NFL Team

A daily link round up of what's "out there" about the Seattle Seahawks.

Good afternoon, 12s.

Here's a look at what's "out there" for today — Tuesday, November 22 — about your Seattle Seahawks:

Seahawks Top ESPN Insider's Most Complete NFL Team Ranking

Mike Sando for ESPN Insider has ranked the NFL's most complete teams, focusing on how a team's strength compensate for any areas of weakness. Sando says "a complete team has become all but impossible" to assemble, but found five teams this season who have the weapons to mask their flaws.

The Seahawks took the top spot on the list, landing in front of the Dallas Cowboys (No. 2), New England Patriots (No. 3), Oakland Raiders (No. 4), and the Kansas City Chiefs (No. 5). ESPN Insider access is required to read the full article, so here is some of what Sando had to say about the Seahawks:

"The Seahawks are the only team in the league with a dominant defense and a dynamic quarterback. They also have a game-breaking talent in the return game as Tyler Lockett moves past a knee injury suffered in Week 2.

Russell Wilson's return to health is helping Seattle overcome its lack of talent along the offensive line. He has more touchdown passes in his past three games (six) than in his first seven of the season, when knee and ankle injuries made him average.

Wilson's health is only part of the line-compensating equation. Restoring a physical presence at running back is also significant for pounding out more yards than the blocking makes readily available."

In honor of a teammate's mother who is fighting breast cancer, Berman is raising money for Susan G. Komen Puget Sound by collecting pledges for every field goal he kicks. So far Berman has raised $2,500 for breast cancer research and community programs.
