Tuesday Round-Up: Mike Mayock Releases New NFL Draft Position Rankings

NFL Network draft expert Mike Mayock released his latest positional top-five rankings for the 2017 NFL Draft.

Good afternoon, 12s.

Here's a look at what's "out there" for today — Tuesday, March 21 — about your Seattle Seahawks:

Mayock Releases New NFL Draft Position Rankings

NFL Network draft expert Mike Mayock released his latest positional top-five rankings for the 2017 NFL Draft, and Mayock not only gave his top players at different positions, but highlighted which ones he believes are beginning to rise, and which ones are starting to fall leading up to April's event.

When it comes to local Washington prospects, Mayock made a few adjustments from his initial list. Washington cornerback Sidney Jones, who sustained an Achilles tendon injury at UW's pro day, was moved to Mayock's special exception list, which is for players in various situations (injuries, etc.). Jones' teammate, Kevin King, was given a bump at cornerback after initially not being ranked. Mayock also included a new category this time around — nickelbacks — and has UW's Budda Baker as the top player.
