Good morning, 12s.
Here's a look at what's "out there" for today - Tuesday, June 7 - about your Seattle Seahawks:
Sherman Dominant
Mike Renner at ProFootballFocus.com has compiled rankings of the 10 most unstoppable forces in the NFL and Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman's press coverage off the line of scrimmage checks in at No. 6 on his list.
Here's what Renner had to say about Sherman's technique:
You know your signature move is impressive when it triggers a revolution of sorts throughout the entire NFL. Ever since Sherman took the league by storm back in 2011, the Seahawks' version of the cover-3 has spread throughout the league, while length at the cornerback position has been put at a premium. Even with all the added emphasis around the NFL, no one has come along who can press quite like Sherman.
Seattle receiver Doug Baldwin agreed with PFF's assessment, but took a good-natured jab at his friend and former Stanford teammate Sherman for having "hands like a snake."
The other most-dominant forces in the League today? The list includes J.J. Watt's swim move along the defensive line, Antonio Brown's routes on the outside, Luke Kuechly's play recognition, Rob Gronkowski's catch radius, Von Miller's spin move and more.

Today's "Tweet of the Day" comes from Blitz The Seahawk, the team's mascot who's making special Father's Day deliveries to 12s in the Seattle area this week. You can learn more about Blitz's Father's Day gifts right here.
