Good morning, 12s.
Here's a look at what's "out there" for today - Tuesday, Sept. 1 - about your Seattle Seahawks:
Russell Wilson Featured Front & Center
Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson is highlighted on one of five Sports Illustrated regional covers previewing the 2015 NFL season.
The issue, set to hit newsstands Monday, Sept. 7, shows Wilson in full uniform clutching his shoulder pads in a photo taken by team photographer Rod Mar. The cover holds the caption, 'The Healer Russell Wilson' and the headline 'How The Seahawks Got Past Super Bowl XLIX.' The cover story, written by SI's Greg Bishop, details the Wilson-led trip 30 Seahawks players took to the Hawaiian Islands this past offseason.
Wilson's cover will be distributed in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Nevada, Utah, Arizona, California, Hawaii, and Alaska. The other four covers include Houston Texans defensive end J.J. Watt, New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr., Tampa Bay Buccaneers linebacker Lavonte David, and Chicago Bears running back Matt Forte.
