Friday's Injury Report

The Seahawks will have starting quarterback Sam Darnold back for their Week 3 game at Washington. Darnold, who returned to practice this week after missing last week's game with a glute injury, practiced fully on Thursday and Friday and does not have a game status, and head coach Mike Macdonald confirmed that Darnold is ready to play.

Also without a game status after being limited earlier in the week is rookie running back Jadarian Price, who exited last week's win in Arizona early with a chest injury. Price practiced fully on Friday and is "ready to go," Macdonald said.

The Seahawks will be without starting safety Julian Love, who had a calf injury come up on Thursday, keeping him out of practice both Thursday and Friday. He is ruled out, as is fellow starting safety Ty Okada, who will miss a third straight game with a hamstring injury. Macdonald said AJ Finley will join Rodney Thomas II in the starting lineup.

Nose tackle Brandon Pili, who exited last week's game with a concussion, is questionable.

For the Commanders, five players have been ruled out, including starting quarterback Jayden Daniels, who injured his elbow in last week's game. Also out are guard Samuel Cosmi (concussion/throat), safety Nick Cross (illness), linebacker Frankie Luvu (groin) and tight end Chigoziem Okonkwo (hamstring).

Thursday's Injury Report

Starting quarterback Sam Darnold, who suffered a glute injury in the opener that kept him out of Seattle's Week 2 win, was a full participant in Thursday's practice after being limited a day earlier, another sign that the two-time Pro Bowler could be back for Sunday's game in Washington.

Darnold was one of five players who were limited on Wednesday to be upgraded to full participation Thursday along with running back George Holani, linebacker Ernest Jones IV, receiver Cooper Kupp and fullback Brady Russell.

It wasn't all positive news on Thursday's report, however, as safety Julian Love was added to the injury report having not practiced due to a calf injury.

Rookie running back Jadarian Price was limited for the second straight day due to the chest injury that caused him to exit Sunday's game early.

One player, defensive tackle Javon Kinlaw, returned to practice for Washington, participating on a limited basis after being out the day before, while five players were held out for a second straight day.

Wednesday's Injury Report

The Seahawks kicked off their practice week with quarterback Sam Darnold back on the field, albeit as a limited participant. Seahawks coach Mike Macdonald said the plan for Darnold, who missed last weekend's game with a glute injury suffered in the season opener, will be to ramp up his workload during the week before the team makes a decision on his status for Sunday's game against the Commanders.

Also limited was running back Jadarian Price, who left Sunday's win over the Cardinals with a chest injury, as well as running back George Holani (knee), linebacker Ernest Jones IV (neck), receiver Cooper Kupp (back) and fullback Brady Russell (chest). Only two players did not practice Wednesday, safety Ty Okada, who missed the first two games with a hamstring injury, and defensive tackle Brandon Pili, who exited Sunday's game with a concussion.

Safety Nick Emmanwori (ankle) was a full participant Wednesday after being limited in practice each of the first two weeks of the season.

The Commanders injury report lists 16 players, six of whom did not practice Wednesday. That includes quarterback Jayden Daniels, who left last weekend's game with a left elbow injury. Marcus Mariota is expected to start in Daniels' place this week. Also not practicing on Wednesday were right guard Samuel Cosmi (concussion, throat), safety Nick Cross (illness), defensive tackle Javon Kinlaw (back, shoulder), linebacker Frankie Luvu (groin) and tight end Chigoziem Okonkwo (hamstring).
