COLLEGE: Enjoyed a five-year collegiate career at Colorado (2018-22). A team captain who finished his time with the Buffaloes with 799 yards and three touchdowns on 67 receptions (10.2 avg.) in 49 games (37 starts). Honored on the All-Pac-12, John Mackey Award and East-West Shrine Game 1,000 preseason watch lists in 2022. During the 2021 season, became the first tight end in Colorado history to lead the team in both catches (25) and yards (307) in 15 years.
PERSONAL: Has several military ties with his immediate family. Originally born on Camp Pendleton Marine Corps Base, where his father, Randy, was stationed. His brother, Tyler, also served in the Naval Academy. Comes from a family of athletes as well. His father, and uncle, Marc Booth, played football at Arkansas, and his brother was an indoor and outdoor high jumper at Navy. His uncle, Matt Russell, who currently serves as the Eagles senior personnel director/advisor to the general manager, was an All-American linebacker at Colorado who was chosen by Detroit in the 4th round (130th overall) of the 1997 NFL Draft.
