COLLEGE: Started 33 of 45 games over his four seasons at UTEP (2020-23), earning first-team Conference USA honors in 2023 and second-team Conference USA honors in 2022. Led the conference with a career-high 140 tackles, 4.5 sacks, 15 tackles for loss and seven passes defensed during that 2023 campaign. Started all 12 games at linebacker in 2022 and tied for the team lead with 95 total tackles. Added 6.5 tackles for loss, one sack, one interception, five passes defensed, and a fumble recovery returned for a 13-yard touchdown. Spent the 2018-19 seasons at Independence Community College. Played in 10 games for the Pirates in 2019, while ranking second on the team with 58 total tackles.
PERSONAL: Graduated from Lake Gibson High in 2018. Earned all-state honors during his prep days with the Braves. Recorded 200 tackles, 10 tackles for loss, two interceptions, and forced three fumbles in his high school career.
