The 12s were back at Lumen Field for Sunday's mock game, the first time Seahawks fans had been in Lumen Field since the end of the 2019 season. Although the gates did not open until 12:25pm, fans arrived early and in 12s fashion: loud. For the next hour until the game started the 12s filed into the stadium with blue and green hair, their favorite players jerseys, and painted faces, eager to cheer on their Seahawks in a long-awaited reunion.
The official fan attendance was 15,758, "It was great to have them there. I can only imagine what it's like for them to be in there after a whole year of not being the inaugural new crowd. I hope that they enjoyed it. Unfortunately for them it's hard to follow the sequences of what's going on," Head Coach Pete Carroll said, "They weren't always cheering at the right time because they didn't have a chance, but they did great. I hope they had a blast, and it was fun for our guys to have that whole setting."
Following covid guidelines, many players stuck around after the game to wave to fans and show them love for their continued support.
For the first time in over a year, the 12s returned to Lumen Field to watch the Seattle Seahawks face off in a mock game on August 8, 2021. Official attendance: 15,758
