The Seahawks bounced back from a tough season-opening loss to earn an overtime road victory over the Lions, winning 37-31 at Ford Field behind big performances by Geno Smith and Tyler Lockett, big takeaways by the defense, and several other standout performances.

In addition to the final score, here are 12 numbers that help tell the story of Sunday's win:

1

Quarterback hit recorded by the Lions, who also had one sack, a sign of how well Jake Curhan and Stone Forsythe played filling in for usual starting tackles Abraham Lucas and Charles Cross.

2

Touchdown receptions for Tyler Lockett, his 10th career game with multiple touchdown receptions. Per ESPN Stats & Info, Lockett is one of two players in franchise history along with Steve Largent (18) to have 10 or more games with multiple receiving touchdowns.

5

Games with at least 300 passing yards and a 70-percent completion rate for Geno Smith dating back to the start of last season. According to ESPN Stats & Info, Smith, who competed 32 of 41 attempts for 328 yards, is tied with Patrick Mahomes for the most such games over that time.

1, 1, 1

Interception return for a touchdown, sack and forced fumble for cornerback Tre Brown, making him one of 24 players to have at least one of each of those stats in one game, and the first to do it since Bobby Wagner in Week 13 of the 2018 season.

6

Quarterback hits, including two sacks, for the Seahawks defense, which had only two quarterback hits and no sacks a week ago.

5

Third down conversions for Seattle on 11 attempts, still not as good as the Seahawks would like, but an improvement from last week. The Seahawks also were 1 for 1 on fourth down.

67 and 33:31

The number of offensive plays and time of possession for Seattle, compared to 64 and 30:48 for Detroit. A week ago, those numbers were very lopsided in the favor of Seattle's opponent.

2

Fourth down stops for Seattle's defense on three Lions attempts.

50.7

Average length of punt for Michael Dickson on three kicks, two of which were downed inside the 20.

13

Tackles recorded by Julian Love, a game high.

11 and 10

Tackles for Jordyn Brooks and Bobby Wagner, who both have double-digit totals in each of their first two games.

6

Tackles for loss for Seattle's defense, with six different players getting in on the action: Brown, Uchenna Nwosu, Darrell Taylor, Mario Edwards Jr., Dre'Mont Jones and Cameron Young.
