The Seahawks pass rush has been one of the strengths of the team through three games, in no small part thanks to the play of outside linebackers Boye Mafe and Derick Hall, who share the team lead with 3.0 sacks apiece.

And soon, the Seahawks will be even better at that spot, with Uchenna Nwosu working his way back from the knee injury that kept him out of the first three games of the season. Nwosu, who led the team in sacks in 2022, was not placed on injured reserve before the start of the season, the hope being that he would be back quicker than the four games players are required to miss on IR.

For Nwosu to beat that timeline, he would need to be able to make it back for Seattle's Week 4 game at Detroit, and while nothing has been decided yet on his availability, Seahawks coach Mike Macdonald said the plan is for Nwosu to get some work in practice this week to help determine his availability.

"We're going to put him out there at some point this week and see how it goes," Macdonald said. "He should get some team activities here in the next couple of days."

As for injuries coming out of Sunday's win over the Dolphins, Macdonald did not yet have any updates on defensive linemen Leonard Williams and Byron Murphy II, saying, "Confirmed it's the ribs with Leo. Byron, it's a hamstring, we'll see how long it goes."

Macdonald was also asked about right tackle Abraham Lucas, who is eligible to come of the physically unable to perform list as soon as next week, and said they don't yet have a timeline on Lucas' return.

"I don't want to put a timeline on Abe right now," he said. "We have kind of an in-house timeline with him and we're working through it, but I'm not going to put a timeline on him right now."

The Seahawks won their third consecutive game to start the season and made sure to celebrate their hard-earned victory afterwards. Check out some of the best postgame scenes from the win over the Dolphins.
