The Seahawks woke up 3-0 on Monday morning after beating the Miami Dolphins, 24-3. DK Metcalf notched his second game with 100+ yards this season, Zach Charbonnet led the team with two touchdowns and the defense helped to hold the Miami offense to just a field goal. With that win, head coach Mike Macdonald became the first head coach to have a 3-0 career start in Seahawks history.
After the game Macdonald said, "Our guys played incredibly hard. You got complementary football towards the end of game in the red zone and played really great red zone defense, and the offense getting in that backed up situation was redeeming to say the least. Then going down with a 98-yard touchdown drive pretty much sealing it was pretty awesome. So, again, just the mentality, how hard our guys are playing, felt like we played physically. Guys were flying around on defense. Place is electric. Our communication was on point given how loud it was. So I think we gave their operation some trouble. The fans did, so shoutout to the 12s on that one. Definitely boosted us on that one. But it's a great win. It's awesome to be 3-0."
