The Seattle Seahawks defense had a great night in their 24-3 win over the New York Giants on Monday Night Football and through the Seahawks franchise record-tying 11 sacks or team total of two interceptions, Devon Witherspoon was electric.
Voting closes Thursday at 9 a.m. PT.
In just his third NFL game, Witherspoon had seven tackles, two sacks and an 97 yard interception returned for a touchdown, the second longest in Seahawks history.
After the game Pete Carroll said Witherspoon's performance shows why the Seahawks drafted him No. 5 overall. "I've never thought he wouldn't play like this," Carroll said. "He just did a great job again tonight, and you can see why we like him."
