The Seahawks kicked off their season with a 26-20 win over the Broncos, giving Mike Macdonald his first win as a head coach. The game featured some standout play on defense, some big plays on offense following a rough start on that side of the ball, and the team's longest-tenured player coming through in the clutch.

Here are 10 numbers of note that help tell the story of Sunday's win over the Broncos:

10

Of Denver's 15 offensive possessions that ended either in a three-and-out or a turnover. Of Denver's 20 points, 10 were the result of offensive or special teams miscues that set up the score, and the Broncos' only touchdown drive came late in the fourth quarter with Seattle sitting on a two-score lead.

13

First downs made by the Broncos, the fewest by a Seahawks opponent since they held the Jets to 12 first downs in Week 14 of the 2020 season.

231

Yards gained by Denver's offense, the lowest total by a Seahawks opponent since Seattle's Week 6 loss in Cincinnati last season.

3

Takeaways for Seattle's defense: interceptions by Julian Love and Riq Woolen, and a K'Von Wallace forced fumble recovered by Jerome Baker.

34

Length of Geno Smith's second-quarter touchdown run, which was the longest run of his 11-year career. According to NFL research, The score also made Smith, who turns 34 next month, the oldest player since 2000 to have a touchdown run of 30 or more yards, ahead of running back Adrian Peterson.

103

Rushing yards by Kenneth Walker III on 20 carries, the seventh 100-yard game of his career and his first since Week 7 of last season.

77

Receiving yards by Tyler Lockett to lead the team, a total that included a clutch one-handed grab on third down to clinch the victory. Lockett now has 8,071 receiving yards in his career, second only to Steve Largent in franchise history, and making him one of 113 players in league history to surpass 8,000 yards.

12

Tackles made by safety Julian Love to lead the team. Love also added an interception, a forced fumble and a tackle for loss.

4

Quarterback hits by defensive lineman Leonard Williams, tied for second most in the NFL in Week 1 (pending Monday Night Football). Williams provided pressure on the errant Bo Nix throw that was intercepted by Love. As a team, the Seahawks hit Nix nine times, including three by second-year outside linebacker Derick Hall, who also had his first career sack.

30

Length of Zach Charbonnet's touchdown catch that gave the Seahawks a two-score lead early in the fourth quarter. Charbonnet's touchdown, along with Walker's 23-yard run and Smith's 34-yard run, marked the first time since Week 7 of the 2022 season that the offense has scored three or more touchdowns of 20-plus yards in a game.
