A look at some memorable moments in Seahawks history that occurred on Nov. 2:
1972: Construction begins on the Kingdome, which the Seahawks would call home from 1976-1999.
1980: The Philadelphia Eagles score the final 10 points in a 27-20 victory at the Kingdome, a setback that is loss No. 2 in what will become a nine-game losing streak to close the season. Jim Zorn throws a 27-yard touchdown pass to Steve Largent, who has six receptions for 101 yards. But Ron Jaworski has two TD passes for the Eagles.
1986: Ken O'Brien passes for 431 yards and four touchdowns, including two to Al Toon, in the Jets' 38-7 victory over the Seahawks at the Kingdome.
1997: The Seahawks drop a 30-27 decision to the Broncos in Denver – their only loss in a five-game stretch – as Jason Elam kicks a 22-yard field goal midway through the fourth quarter. The setback wastes a three-TD passing performance by Warren Moon.
2003: The Seahawks improve their home record to 5-0 with a 23-16 victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers, as Josh Brown kicks three field goals and Chad Brown collects two sacks against his former team.
2008: Koren Robinson scores on a 90-yard pass from Seneca Wallace on the Seahawks' first play of the game, but the Philadelphia Eagles score the next 26 points to start what will become a six-game losing streak for the Seahawks.
