2025-03-27 round-up

Good afternoon, 12s. Here's a look at what's going on out there and any news you might have missed, about your Seattle Seahawks this week.

The Weekly John Schneider Show

During this week's Seattle Sports' John Schneider Show, Seahawks general manager/president of football operations John Schneider talked the differences between this offseason versus last year, now having a year under his belt with head coach Mike Macdonald and the coaching staff.

"From a communication standpoint, it does [feel different this offseason compared to 2024]," Schneider said. "Not drastically, what we did in free agency and draft prep has been the same. But our communication on free agency, much better this year because we know the individuals, we know how they evaluate, what they're looking for, how they're going to communicate with their players, what the fit's going to be, and style of defense and what our offense is going to look like."

Schneider also said the team had Jaguars offensive lineman Cole Van Lanen in for a visit this week.

Seahawks Launch 50th Season

This week the Seahawks launched their 50th season campaign to celebrate their 50th season in 2025. The season includes a commemorative jersey patch and logo, fan and community events and plans for a special 50th season themed game.

"Since 1976, the Seahawks organization has made its mark on the Pacific Northwest and become known around the world for its championship mindset and passionate fan base. Together with the 12s, we look forward to celebrating our 50th season throughout the coming year, and shining a light on those who helped shape our incredible legacy into what it is today," Seahawks president Chuck Arnold said in a press release.

Seahawks Free Agency

Although free agency moves have slowed down, the Seahawks have still been making moves like most recently signing WR Steven Sims, S D'Anthony Bell and TE Eric Saubert.
