Good afternoon, 12s. Here's a look at what's going on out there and any news you might have missed, about your Seattle Seahawks this week.

Marshawn Lynch Added To Madden NFL Ring Of Honor

Seahawks Legend running back Marshawn Lynch, a four-time Pro Bowler, first-team All-Pro selection, and Super Bowl champion, among other things, has added Madden NFL Ring of Honor to his resume, having been selected to the Class of 2025.

Only five players are added each year and selection is based on multiple factors, from on-field success to cultural impact. Sound like anyone you've seen in a Seahawks jersey?

Lynch "brought unforgettable, powerful running moments to Madden, with his "Beast Mode" runs enhancing dynamic running mechanics and adding cultural flair to the game."

Perhaps the most sought-after honor in Madden is the coveted 99-overall rating. Fortunately for Lynch, who once spent a day as a Madden Ratings Adjustor, the induction into the Madden NFL Ring of Honor means he's locked into a 99-overall rating without having to call any hotlines.

Lynch, who also played for Buffalo and Oakland during his career, posted on social media that he is "honored to be selected... and reppin' the Seahawks IN THE GAME!"

Also selected alongside Lynch for the Class of 2025 were linebacker Ray Lewis, quarterback Peyton Manning, offensive lineman Joe Thomas, and safety Sean Taylor.

The Weekly John Schneider Show

In his weekly appearance for Seattle Sports, Seahawks general manager/president of football operations John Schneider spoke about receiver Cooper Kupp, who officially signed with the Seahawks earlier this week.

"Everybody just raves about his work ethic. I have a close friend that trains down where he's training, and the work ethic is just off the chart. The person, the leader, I don't know if you caught the press conference, but pretty down to earth."

Physically, Schneider said the former Rams receiver, who was sidelined for five games last season due to an ankle injury, flew up to Seattle for "a battery of examinations and imaging and all kinds of stuff in the morning, and when he cleared, he signed his contract."

Schneider also spent time talking about his philosophy on building an offensive line.

"You can't just throw money at marginal play. We want to be a championship team, we don't want to be an average team. We can sign guys who can fill a specific role, but it's not at a point right now where you're going to go sign a guy that's for sure going to be your starting left guard or right guard. That's just what it is. I wish I could tell you different."

Fans can watch the full show on the Seattle Sports YouTube channel.
