Good afternoon, 12s. Here's a look at what's going on out there and any news you might have missed, about your Seattle Seahawks.
Seahawks Take On The Pro Bowl
Three Seahawks spent the weekend in Orlando, participating in all things Pro Bowl. Devon Witherspoon (second appearance), Leonard Williams (second appearance) and Jaxon Smith-Njigba (first appearance) represented the Seahawks as the NFC competed against the AFC to take home the trophy for the weekend of events.
Players from around the league showed love to Williams' 92-yard pick-six by guessing how fast he was running during the touchdown.
Witherspoon was able to talk smack with a former teammate about whose basketball skills were better.
After scoring his first Pro Bowl touchdown, Smith-Njigba hit Terrell Owens' "Sharpie" celebration.
And he also suited up as quarterback and threw a couple of picks during the process.
Even though it's the offseason, there's really no rest for head coach Mike Macdonald who made the trip to Mobile, Alabama last week to watch practices, and a week-long showcase of some of the best draft prospects before the Senior Bowl. Unable to attend last offseason, Macdonald took advantage of going to the Senior Bowl because, "I want to be involved in the process of deciding who's going to be on our team," Macdonald said. "Who we bring in is really important in building the culture that we want and the team that we want, and you want to take advantage of every opportunity you have to make the best decisions for us. I just want to be a part of it."
