Good afternoon, 12s. Here's a look at what's going on out there and any news you might have missed, about your Seattle Seahawks this week.

Friday morning, Washington State Legislature held a hearing to decide whether or not to designate December 12, 12/12, as "Day of the 12s". The legislature heard testimony from three Seahawks fans, including the Seahawks 2024 Fan of the Year, Terri Fletcher. The bill will move to an executive session for members to discuss and vote on February 12.

Seahawks Mock Draft Trackers

With the 2025 NFL Draft a little over a month away, NFL reporters have started putting together mock drafts for what they think each team will do in the first round, and beyond. The Seahawks hold the No. 18 overall selection in the first round.

Thursday night, the NFL hosted their yearly awards, the NFL Honors, which announces winners of awards MVP, Offensive Rookie of the Year, and the NFL Walter Payton Man of the Year. During the show, they announce the next class of the Pro Football Hall of Fame. This year, former Seahawks head coach, Mike Holmgren was a finalist to be elected into this years' class, but ultimately was not elected. Holmgren holds a resume that includes a 161-111 record as a head coach for both the Seahawks and the Green Bay Packers, took two teams to the playoffs a total of 12 times, three trips to the Super Bowl as a head coach, winning one with the Packers, and helping Seattle to reach their first Super Bowl in franchise history.
