Good afternoon, 12s. Here's a look at what's going on out there and any news you might have missed, about your Seattle Seahawks this week.
After the team parted ways with Ryan Grubb, the search for an offensive coordinator came to an end this week when the Seahawks hired former New Orleans Saints offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak. Before his season with the Saints, he was the offensive coordinator for the Minnesota Vikings in 2021.
Kubiak has not yet had his introductory press conference.
Pro Bowl Additions
Before the Pro Bowl Games kicked off on Thursday, two more Seahawks were added to the NFC roster. DE Leonard Williams, who was left off the initial roster, replaced Jalen Carter, meanwhile WR Jaxon Smith-Njigba, replaced Terry McLaurin. Williams was arguably one of the biggest Pro Bowl snubs, but now can add two-time Pro Bowler to his resume. This marks Smith-Njigba's first trip to Orlando for the games. The two will join teammate Devon Witherspoon at the Pro Bowl Games.
Maurice Kelly, the Seahawks' vice president of player affairs will be down in Orlando, as well, representing the NFC as part of the coaching staff. This will be Kelly's third Pro Bowl as a coach and the biggest part of his role is helping players get to where they need and being a liaison for them.
