ESPN's Eric Moody and Seth Walder are both choosing the Seahawks to beat the Cardinals in Week 9. "The Seahawks on the other hand have multiple takeaways in six straight games and have won by double digits the last two weeks."
The Bleacher Report Staff's final panel predicts the Seahawks will defeat the Cardinals 35-31 in their Week 9 matchup. "The Seahawks defense has tightened up over the past three weeks, allowing 23 or fewer points in those contests."
Safid Dean of USA Today has the Cardinals getting a 28-24 win at home over the Seahawks. "Hopkins has made his presence felt in two games so far this season, and he will continue to be a welcomed sight for Murray and the Cardinals. The Seahawks, despite their amazing start, don't have anyone who can cover Hopkins."
Pete Prisco of CBS Sports NFL has the Seahawks winning on the road in a close 30-28 game over the Cardinals. "The Seahawks are in first place in the NFC West, getting there with a good offense as the defense improves. Arizona has the offense, but the defense has struggled as well. This will be a high-scoring game, but I think Seattle's offense will get the best of it."
Bill Bender of the Sporting News predicts that Kenneth Walker III will continue his solid rookie campaign and will help the Seahawks beat the Cardinals 26-25 in Week 9. "The Seahawks beat the Cardinals 19-9 in Week 6, and Arizona is in desperation mode at 3-5. Seattle is 2-2 on the road, but the emergence of Kenneth Walker III, who has scored TDs in four straight games, continues to be a difference maker. Seattle is a low-risk underdog as a result."
The Fox Sports staff highlights that the Tariq Woolen vs. Deandre Hopkins matchup is one to look out for and has the Cardinals taking the slight edge over the Seahawks in a 21-19 home win. "Smith is playing well, and Seattle should move the ball against Arizona's defense. The Seahawks also enter Sunday's game with momentum, having won four out of their past five games. However, the Cardinals have played better offensively since Hopkins' return to the lineup and should be within striking distance in the fourth quarter."
Adam H. Beasley of Pro Football Network is picking the Seahawks to win their fourth straight game in a 28-24 win over the Cardinals. "The Seahawks ranked 31st in defensive EPA through five games (.17). They're second in the three weeks since (-.17). Combine that with a quarterback in Geno Smith, who is fourth in QBR (66.6), and the Seahawks look less and less like a fluke by the week."
Mike Florio of NBC Sports Pro Football Talk continues to back the Seahawks in Week 9 as he is picking the Seahawks to beat the Cardinals 27-20 in Arizona. "The Seahawks continue to be underrated. The Cardinals continue to be overrated."
