The Seahawks woke up 2-0 on Monday morning after beating the New England Patriots, 23-20, in their first road game. Geno Smith and the offense put together a great showing, Jason Myers came through in a clutch moment and Julian Love came up with his first blocked field goal.

Head coach Mike Macdonald got his first road win and overtime win as an NFL head coach, saying after the game, "What a heck of a football game. We knew the game was going to come down to the fourth quarter. Didn't expect to come down to fifth quarter, but whatever it takes. Just proud of the fight, the resiliency, just the confidence, the support, the togetherness of our football team."
