The Seahawks continued league-wide efforts to show love and support for Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin, who collapsed on the field due to a cardiac arrest incident, before their Week 18 game against the Los Angeles Rams.
During pregame warmups, players for both teams wore shirts that read "Love For Damar" that included the number three, which is what Hamlin wears for Buffalo.
In addition, the number three painted on the field at each 30-yard line was outlined in blue and will be visible throughout the game.
"We just want to continue to pray for him and hopefully he has a full recovery and gets a clean slate of health because that's what it is all about," Quandre Diggs said earlier in the week. "It's not about him getting back on the field or things like that, it's about a clean slate of health and his family."
"My heart just goes out to his family and friends and teammates that had to go watch that and deal with it firsthand," DK Metcalf added.
Please consider joining the Seahawks in making a donation to Hamlin's charitable fund, The Chasing M’s Foundation.
