Seahawks Sign LB Jerome Baker

The Seahawks signed former Miami Dolphins linebacker Jerome Baker Saturday afternoon.

The Seahawks signed linebacker Jerome Baker Saturday, addressing a need at the linebacker position after unrestricted free agents Bobby Wagner and Jordyn Brooks signed with the Washington Commanders and Miami Dolphins, respectively. Earlier this week, the Seahawks signed former Buffalo Bills linebacker Tyrel Dodson.

After finishing his college career at Ohio State, Baker was a third-round pick by the Dolphins in 2018 and has spent all six seasons in the NFL in Miami.

Since 2018, Baker has appeared in 94 games, starting 84, including 12 starts last season. In 2023, he recorded 78 tackles, two interceptions, one touchdown, four quarterback hits and 1.5 sacks.

Over the course of his career, he has posted three 100-tackle seasons (2019, 2020, 2022).

The Seahawks signed linebacker Jerome Baker to a one year deal on March 16, 2024. Baker joins Seattle after playing six seasons with the Miami Dolphins.
