When the Seahawks open their 2022 season on Monday night, they will be, to borrow a phrase from Seahawks Legend Marshawn Lynch, "Just 'bout that action, boss."
Action Green, that is.
For the first time since debuting their Action Green uniforms in 2016, the Seahawks will open a season wearing the brightest uniforms in the NFL, doing so against the Denver Broncos on Monday Night Football.
The Seahawks will look to not only improve upon their success in home openers—they're 11-1 in home openers under Pete Carroll and John Schneider—but also to continue their winning ways in Action Green. Dating back to their 2016 win over their Rams in their first game in Action Green, the Seahawks are 7-1 when wearing their green jersey, and are 4-1 in the all-green look they'll be wearing on Monday night.
To add to the green gameday atmosphere, 60,000 Action Green rally towels will be handed out, courtesy of Lumen.
With the Seahawks announcing they'll be wearing Action Green on top and bottom, take a look back at the last time the Seahawks wore this uniform combo, Week 5 vs. the Rams during the 2021 season.
