Timeout with Pharaoh Brown

1. What has been your favorite outfit you've worn on the red carpet?

"My favorite was probably the ESPY's outfit. That one was cool. It was my favorite until I got out of the truck on the red carpet. I was burning up and so hot in the outfit that my wife had to give me a towel before every interview."

2. What was your favorite part about attending the University of Oregon?

"Probably all the shoes we got. We used to get all the exclusive Jordans, but it was just a great college experience. We were the hottest thing on the college football scene, with how we played and how we won a lot. So that's always fun."

3. What is your favorite activity to do with your kids?

"Yesterday, we played football and soccer for the first time. That was really fun. My youngest son is a sore loser. He took the ball and ran into the house, and I was just laughing. He's my son, and it's hilarious. My oldest is winning right now, so he hasn't experienced losing just yet."

4. How do you decide which color to dye your hair?

"I usually let my kids pick the color. Who knows what they're going to choose."

5. How do you unwind after a long day of work?

"I have a vagus nerve stimulator that brings you out of fight or flight. So, that helps me unwind and come out of that intense state of mind. Then I like to get in the cold tub, throw some smooth music on, and just kind of vibe out and relax."

6. How often do you go spearfishing?

"I've probably been, like, four times. It's a hell of a workout. The workout is crazy. The last time I went, funny story, we were hanging out in Mexico. So when you go spearfishing, you have to wake up early in the morning, then go. We had a late night, and I had to wake up at 7 a.m. to go. I'm in the middle of the ocean. The boat, when it drops you off, it takes off, so it doesn't scare the fish. I'm diving, and I catch a cramp. I'm 40-feet deep, and my leg just cramps up, and mind you, I got the weights on so it can weigh you down. I didn't drop the gun. I'm pulling off weights. I'm thinking I'm about to die at this moment. We're waiting for the boat to get us. My friend was asking where the stuff was. I told him it was at the bottom of the water. He had to dive back in to get the stuff. It was it was probably my worst spearfishing experience. I have to go back and redeem myself."

7. How do you maintain a work-life balance while playing in the NFL?

"My wife just helps balance it all out for me."

8. What is something the 12s might not know about you?

"People find it interesting that I ride horses. I did a lot of stuff for equestrian therapy with kids with cerebral palsy, PTSD, and all of that. But that was just me doing charity stuff, and then I got into it. I've been riding for a year, and it's pretty fun."

9. What movie franchise would you want to be a part of?

"I would say The Equalizer. To be on set with Denzel Washington would be great. I would want to be the villain/evil character in the movie."

10. What TV shows are you watching right now?

"I like Ginny and Georgia on Netflix, the Queen's Gambit; I like that show. I watch a lot of chick flicks. I like Yellowstone. I actually wanted to be in that show. Taylor Sheridan might be my favorite producer."

11. If you were stranded on a deserted island, which teammates would you bring with you?

"I'm bringing Brady Russell; he's hilarious and seems resourceful. I'm bringing my dawg A.B. (Anthony Bradford), I need some strength out there. I'll probably bring Sam Howell because he is just funny, and if I am stranded, I need a laugh. Even if we can't get off the island, it would be a great time."

12. What is your favorite place to visit in Seattle?

"The Virginia Mason Athletic Center. I have not been anywhere yet other than the airport and work. We do go to restaurants and rooftop bars, which are really cool. I went to Ascend, and that was a really cool restaurant."
