1. What does a typical off day look like for you?
- "A lot of chilling. A lot of playing a game. A lot of joking, laughing. And I guess since I'm in Seattle now, there's so many sightseeing places and adventurous things out here that look very cool. And I'm a content creator, so you know, I'm going to tap into that."
2. What do you miss most about Texas?
- "That's a very good question. I'd say the most I miss about Texas… I would say probably just the family. I don't have a big family, I don't talk to much family, but the little family I do have.
- If they're all back home in DeSoto: "For the most part. I got a sister that's in Jacksonville. I only talk to my siblings and my mom."
3. How did you choose Gigi's name?
- "I can't wait until I bring Gigi up here. I'm not going to lie, I haven't seen her in so long because a lot of training and moving around, so my brother's been having her. But soon, soon. I'm going to get her, probably in like two weeks. I won't be able to get her, but I'm going to have somebody bring her. But, how did I get the name Gigi? I sat courtside before I got drafted—we got to pull this picture up now! When y'all post this, you got to pull this picture up. I sat courtside by Kobe, and Gigi was next to me. So that just really inspired it."
4. How do you maintain your dreads and keep them looking healthy?
- "Okay so, I'm not going to lie, I have my highs and lows with it. I do want to get better with it, and I want to find new products, and find new things, and new ways to take better care. But I can't be lazy, and I have to be consistent. I don't have any exact things, but you know, I got the oils. Really just the oils and certain things that black people use, can't use everything. I don't even know the exact name; I'm going to have to come back to you on that one. I'm going to have an exact routine here soon."
- On making a hair care routine video: "I am. I am. I told y'all, I'm a content creator. I'm about making money, BUT authentically. Authentically. I'm not going out of my way to do anything. I'm doing things that I like."
5. Which three artists would headline your dream music festival?
- "NBA Youngboy, for sure. Alicia Keys. For the third one… do I want to be turnt up? It depends. That's a hard one, I'm going to leave the third one blank for now. Guest performance."
6. What's your favorite touchdown celebration?
- "Last year, it was, you know, the hips. I've done that pretty much every time I score. But, anything that gets the body moving. I like to dance."
7. What are you thinking of for Halloween costumes this year?
- "Did you see the one I did last year? For the team thing, I was a Transformer. But this year, I don't know. I'm going to have to do something with me and my dog, for sure. I don't know, but it's going to be interesting. Oh, and for the game, I showed up as a Minion. So yeah, that's going to be interesting. It's going to be something good, just know that."
- If he watched the new Despicable Me movie: "I didn't, but I honestly love Despicable Me. I love the Minions. They're funny, I love the Minions."
8. Where's your favorite place you've traveled to?
- "I'm going to say London. It was on a business trip, but I want to travel everywhere so, I'm going to have some more answers for you soon."
9. What's been your favorite part of Seattle so far?
- "Just coming in here and working. Getting to know the team, getting close with the team."
10. Which teammates have the best sense of style (other than you)?
- "I'm going to put myself at one, for sure. But I haven't seen too much yet. I'm not sure yet, but I like how T Dot (Tyrel Dodson) is. Yeah, I like T Dot. But we'll see. We'll see Friday! We'll see tomorrow. We're going to see. You know some people are going to be like 'I don't—it's just the preseason game!'"
11. What's the best piece of advice you've received?
- "I'm going to put it in my own words because I don't remember exactly. I'm pretty sure everybody hears this, but 'Focus on what only you can control,' because it will drive you crazy mentally, and if your mental's not right, then everything is going to be off."
12. Rapid-fire this or that:
L.A. or New York
- "Honestly, I go to New York and L.A. for the same reasons, both for the same reasons. But I'm going New York. More because of how it looks and the things you can do. L.A. is like—I only like to go shopping. I don't want to be out and about in L.A. and this and that, too much is going on. But New York, I can go right in the mix and people don't even realize who you are and all that. So yeah, New York."
Sheisty or bucket hat
- "Sheisty. I go sheisty everyday. And with my fits, though. I be having some fire sheisties."
Spades or poker
- "Hmm, these are some good this or that's! Spades if I'm with the family, but poker if I really want to have some fun because, I feel like I have a good poker face. I actually did a poker event at the Super Bowl, and I got top five. It was about, 70-something people. It was an eight-hour event though. I got a good poker face, and you know what's crazy? I don't even know how to play for REAL, for real. It's just, I'm good at bluffing. And I'm going to take risks. I don't do anything without taking risks. I'm never folding. But it hurts me, though. It hurts me, it does. I'm going to choose poker though."
Geminis or Leos
- "I'm only going to say Leo because my mom is a Leo. Birthday just passed. Happy belated."
Summer or winter
- "I'm not a hot guy. But I'd rather be outside! No, I'm going to choose winter though. Why? Because I get to layer up, I get to really put it on, I get to really try different things. It's just more fun. Summer, I'm just going to be trying to show off my body."
Blue or green
- "I'm all about that money, so green."
