1. If you weren't playing in the NFL, what would you be doing?
"That's a good question. I think I would be trying to pursue a professional baseball career. You know, growing up, baseball was my second favorite sport right behind football, and I feel like I had a good chance to play professionally in that too, so I would probably be pursuing that."
2. Who is your biggest inspiration?
"I would say my dad probably. My dad is just someone who sacrificed so much to be where I am today and I'm just forever thankful for everything he's done for me for my siblings, and he is someone I would like to be when I'm older."
3. What do you never leave the house without?
"I never leave the house without my phone or my wallet. Got to have those two things, those are the essentials. And I do carry a briefcase to work and in there I've got a notebook and an iPad to watch film, but that's pretty much it."
4. What do you want your football legacy to be?
"Honestly, I don't really think about legacy right now because I still feel like I'm early in my career and I still feel like I'm pretty young. Right now, I'm just taking it one day at a time and trying to stay present and focus on what I'm supposed to be doing right now and I'm not too worried about the future and but when it's all said and done, I'm sure there are things I'll want to have accomplished but right now I'm staying focused on the present."
5. What is your favorite part about living in Seattle?
"I would say definitely the views. The views out here are just so amazing and just so much different than where I come from back in North Carolina, so I would definitely say the views for sure."
6. What are your goals for this season?
"I just think to help this team win in whatever way that is. Try to be a good teammate and try to support everybody here and try to help the team win. I think the team's goal is to win the Super Bowl and I think that's my personal goal as well."
7. What are some of your favorite things to do outside of football?
"I would say in the offseason I like to play golf. I picked up golf a couple years ago and I love to do it. It's a good way to spend time with my friends and my dad."
8. Do you have a favorite golf course?
"There's a ton, I would say out here definitely Chambers Bay. It's a beautiful place to play, they played a U.S. Open there. I've been out there a couple of times but there's some beautiful golf out here."
9. What is your go-to pregame song?
Honestly, I'm not a big music guy before the game. I don't really listen to much music. I try to kind of just sit there and take it all in and when I'm warming up in the stadium, I like to hear the sound of the stadium and just be grounded to where I am at the time, but I don't really listen to a ton of music though.
10. What is your diet like and why don't you like red meat or seafood?
"Yeah, I do have an interesting diet I would say. I don't like red meat, and I don't like seafood and those are the two things that are not in my diet at all, so I eat a lot of chicken. Honestly, I've been like this forever. It was just something when I was young, I didn't like and I've kind of always been that way and I've tried to like it but at this point it's so far gone I can't do it. I don't like it because of the taste, I just don't think it tastes good. I think seafood smells bad and tastes bad. And red meat I just don't like the taste of it."
11. What is one thing most people don't know about you?
"I would say my diet is a pretty good one. I think I have a pretty unique diet so that's probably what I would say."
12. If you could have dinner with anyone, past or present, who would it be?
"I would say probably my grandma. My grandma passed away two years ago now and she was someone that was very very special to me and someone who has sacrificed a lot and helped me a lot, helped me get to where I am. So, I would love to definitely sit down and have dinner with her one last time."
