Good morning, 12s.
Here's a look at what's 'out there' for today – Tuesday, March 17 – about your Seattle Seahawks:
"Seattle Is Home"
On Monday evening just ahead of the start of free agency, the Seattle Seahawks re-signed defensive tackle Jarran Reed to a two-year contract. Reed, who wanted to stay in Seattle, took to Twitter to show his excitement.
"Seattle is home," the North Carolina native wrote in a Twitter post, complemented by a properly-included GIF of Seahawks mascot Blitz. A handful of other Seahawks players shared their excitement with Reed, posting some tweets with a similar tone.
Even Blitz gave J-Reed a little shout out. He must've loved that his GIF was included in the original post.
As you can imagine, a large number of local and national media also jumped in on the breaking news.
And we can't forget about how excited the 12s were.
Social Post Of The Day
Today's 'Social Post of the Day' comes from Seahawks safety Ugo Amadi, as he posts a photo from training in the offseason sporting his alma mater.
