The Seahawks will head to Los Angeles Saturday ahead of their Week 7 game against the Chargers, and Pete Carroll is hopeful that leading receiver Tyler Lockett will be available despite not practicing all week.

Lockett is listed as questionable with a hamstring injury, but Carroll said, "His chances are really good at playing."

Lockett first had the injury come up last week, but played in Seattle's Week 6 win over Arizona. And while it's not ideal to have a player miss an entire week of practice, Carroll said Lockett is as well equipped as anyone to handle that challenge.

"We put him on ice to make sure that he got stronger through these last two weeks," Carroll said. "He was a little bit hampered last week, but he made it through, so we're just trying to be careful with him. If there's anybody in the program that we can do this with, he could do it. So we'll see, I'm not going to know until gameday."

Also questionable for Sunday's game is cornerback Sidney Jones IV, who was a new addition to the injury report Friday with a groin injury. The Seahawks will likely be without starting right guard Gabe Jackson, as well as cornerback Artie Burns and receiver Penny Hart, all of whom are listed as doubtful. Reserve cornerback Isaiah Dunn was ruled out with a hamstring injury he sustained in last weekend's game.

The Seahawks also could potentially bring back a couple of players to bolster their defensive front if they can make it work out with the roster, as both defensive end L.J. Collier and outside linebacker Bruce Irvin look like they're ready to go, Carroll said.

Collier, who returned to practice from injured reserve two weeks ago, only to injure his thumb last week, setting back his return, "did well" in practice this week, Carroll said. "He was back to normal. He did a good job, so he's available to us if we can do that."

As for Irvin, who signed to the practice squad last week, Carroll said the veteran outside linebacker is "much further along. It was too much to ask of him last week. This worked out fine, so we're thinking he's ready to play, and we're not hesitant on that thought at all, we've just got to see if we can work it all out."

For the Chargers, Pro-Bowl receiver Keenan Allen is questionable with a hamstring injury and will be a game-day decision. L.A.'s regular kicker Dustin Hopkins is out due to the hamstring injury suffered in Monday's win over the Broncos, as are tight end Donald Parham Jr., running back Joshua Kelley and receiver Joshua Palmer.
