Punted a school-record 226 times for a school-record 10,242 yards. Was the recipient of the 2017 Ray Guy Award. Named a unanimous first team All-American (AFCA, AP, FWAA, SN, WCFF). The 2016 and 2017 Big 12 Conference Special Teams Player of the Year. Named first team All-Big 12 at punter in both 2016 and 2017. Named 2017 Big 12 Football Scholar-Athlete of the Year and an Academic All-Big 12 First Team member. Also an All-American in 2016.

Averaged approximately 20 disposals per game (a kick/punt or a hand pass). During 2014, participated for the Sydney Swans Academy (professional development team) and represented his state (NSW).
