The Seahawks elevated defensive tackle Anthony Rush from the practice squad today, placing him on the active roster for the Sunday Night Football matchup with the New England Patriots.

While the Seahawks are relatively healthy heading into Week 2, defensive end Rasheem Green is currently listed as doubtful due to a neck stinger. Given his status, today's move helps address some much-needed depth on the defensive line.

Rush appeared in nine games for the Philadelphia Eagles in 2019, recording nine tackles and two passes defended. He was released by the Eagles on roster cutdown day earlier this month before signing to Seattle's practice squad a few days later.
