Ernest Jones IV is active for the Seahawks' Week 9 game against the Rams, meaning the fourth-year linebacker will get to face his former team, which traded him in August following three seasons in L.A.
Jones, who had a team-leading 15 tackles in his Seahawks debut last week after being acquired in a trade with the Titans, had been listed as questionable on Friday's injury report due to a neck injury.
The Seahawks will be without two of their top pass catchers, receiver DK Metcalf (knee) and tight end Noah Fant (groin), both of whom were ruled out on Friday.
Among those also inactive is rookie guard Christian Haynes, who had been splitting time at right guard with starter Anthony Bradford. Seahawks coach Mike Macdonald said earlier in the week that the plan was to stick with Bradford at that spot this week rather than continue the rotation.
Tackle George Fant is active a day after being activated from injured reserve, and could potentially be in line to start at right tackle, though it is also possible the Seahawk stick with rookie Michael Jerrell for another week and have Fant available as tackle depth.
Cornerback Josh Jobe and receiver Cody White are also both active after being elevated off the practice squad, and for White this will mark his Seahawks debut after spending part of last season and all of this season on the practice squad.
