The Seahawks activated Artie Burns from injured reserve ahead of Sunday's game against the Green Bay Packers, adding a veteran and versatile cornerback to the secondary.

Safety Jerrick Reed II was placed on injured reserve to make room on the 53-man roster.

The Seahawks also elevated quarterback Jaren Hall and running back George Holani from the practice squad.

Burns, a former first-round pick of the Steelers who first signed with the Seahawks in 2022, went on injured reserve in October due to a toe injury. Burns has appeared in 18 games over three seasons with the Seahawks, starting one.

Reed, who returned earlier this season from a knee injury that cut short his rookie season, has been sidelined recently by a quadriceps injury.

Holani, who was also elevated for last week's game, gives the Seahawks added running back depth with Kenneth Walker III listed as doubtful due to a calf injury. This is the second elevation for Hall, who was also elevated for Seattle's win over the Jets, though he was inactive for the game.
