The Seahawks made a deal to bolster their defensive line depth, agreeing to a trade with the Jaguars to acquire veteran defensive tackle Roy Robertson-Harris.
The trade is pending physical for Robertson-Harris, who was in London with the Jaguars on Monday following their Week 6 game vs. Chicago.
Robertson-Harris, 31, has appeared in 106 games with 62 starts since coming into the league as an undrafted free agent out of UTEP in 2016. After missing his rookie season on the non-football illness list, Robertson-Harris went on to appear in 52 games with 13 starts for the Bears over the next four seasons. His play in Chicago led to Robertson-Harris getting a free-agent deal from the Jaguars in 2021, and over the past three-plus seasons in Jacksonville, has started 49 of 54 games played, including starts in all 17 games each of the past two seasons.
Over the course of eight seasons, the 6-foot-5, 290-pound Robertson-Harris has 198 tackles, 19.0 sacks, 26 tackles for loss, 66 quarterback hits and 13 passes defensed.
Six games into this season, Robertson-Harris has played 50 percent of Jacksonville's defensive snaps, recording 2.0 sacks, seven tackles and four quarterback hits.
