RENTON, Wash. – The Seattle Seahawks and Boeing announced today eight local organizations to receive 2021 Seahawks home game tickets as part of the Legion of Youth Powered by Boeing (LOY) program.

During each of the Seahawks' eight regular season games, 25 students will each receive four (4) game tickets, breakfast with a special visit from a Seahawks Legend, concession vouchers, and a Legion of Youth Powered by Boeing sweatshirt. New in 2021, each student will also receive a pair of new shoes from Nike as well as a Legion of Youth Powered by Boeing backpack and athletic socks. After challenges many students faced over the last 18 months, the Seahawks and Boeing wanted to extend the program's reach past gamedays and provide students with gear to help transition back to in-person school.

The 2021 recipients are as follows:

  • Sept. 19 vs Titans: Urban League of Seattle
  • Oct. 7 vs Rams: East African Community Services
  • Oct. 25 vs Saints: Kingmakers of Seattle
  • Oct. 31 vs Jaguars: Atlantic Street Center
  • Nov. 21 vs Cardinals: Geeking Out Kids of Color
  • Dec. 5 vs 49ers: Puget Sound Educational Service District's Native American Education Program
  • Dec. 26 vs Bears: Goodwill Youth Aerospace Program
  • Jan. 2 vs Lions: Sawhorse Revolution

"At Boeing, we are deeply invested in improving the lives of students throughout Washington," said Bill McSherry, Vice President of Government Operations for Boeing Commercial Airplanes. "We are privileged to team up with the Seahawks once again through our Seahawks Legion of Youth Powered by Boeing program. We love that this program seeks out kids who are working hard and may also need a boost of kindness or just plain fun."

Started in 2014, the Legion of Youth Powered by Boeing program seeks to empower youth in Washington by providing Seahawks game tickets to community organizations that serve kids throughout the Northwest. LOY provides 100 game tickets to a group or organization each regular season home game.

The Seahawks and Boeing are committed to helping provide safe, healthy activities for local youth. The program recognizes and rewards students who are committed to their school work, demonstrate leadership, and are active in the community. It also recognizes kids who may be facing difficult challenges and need a positive boost.
