Each week during the 2024 season, different captains will be named heading into the matchup.
Here are the four captains for Week 8 of the 2024 season:
- K Jason Myers
- LB Derick Hall
- C Connor Williams
- LB Tyrel Dodson
Williams, and Jason Myers were captains in Week 3 vs. the Dolphins. Now, Derick Hall and Tyrel Dodson, who will be playing against his former team, will get their first go as captains this week. Dodson said he's spoken to a few of his old teammates this week.
"Me and Dawson Knox, we've been texting and stuff like that because we were roommates when we first got there," he said. "That's one of my best friends. Excited to play against him. Everyone's asking for my jersey, so I've got to talk to E.K. (Director of Equipment Erik Kennedy) about that and see if we can get like 10 jerseys and spread it out. I'm excited. That's a place where I grew a lot, and I have nothing but respect for that team and Sean McDermott and Bobby Babich."
