On Thursday, the Seahawks signed former Cardinals, Texans, Ravens offensive lineman Josh Jones who appeared in 16 games for the Ravens last season.

The addition of Jones gives the Seahawks some versatility in their line, as Jones has experience playing at every position across the line except center.

"I have a start at every position but center, so I play left guard, left tackle, right guard, right tackle," Jones said. "That's just me being athletic, to be able to go to both sides and be able to play."

Jones added that the Seahawks are getting an "aggressive player, smart player. A player that wants to win."

Along with the versatility, Jones will be playing in a scheme that he's already familiar with.

"I've heard about Mike (Macdonald) and what he's doing over here, and they run the same offense I've been exposed to before in the league already, so I'm excited to come here and win some games."

And besides what Macdonald is helping to do on the football field, Jones said he has heard about the atmosphere that he is creating off the field.

"[I heard] that he was a good coach, a honest guy and he has that culture of winning that was established where he was at before and he was able to come and bring that same thing here."

One thing Jones is looking forward to is playing inside Lumen Field, except this time with the 12s on his side.

"I've played here a few times because I played with the Cardinals for three years, and I knew every time we were coming up here to Lumen Field it was going to be a tough game. I know that stadium is hard to play in for other people, and then now to play in it for myself and have it be hard on them, I'm excited for it."

Jones has five seasons under his belt and that comes with a lot of experience and Jones is ready to show that his best days are still ahead.

"I've played a lot of football already. I played with a lot of teams. I got to play with some of the great players around the league but hopefully my best moments are ahead of me."

The Seahawks signed offensive lineman Josh Jones on Thursday, March 13, 2025. Jones was a 3rd round pick by the Arizona Cardinals in the 2020 NFL Draft and has played for the Cardinals, Texans and most recently, the Ravens. Check out the best photos of Jones throughout his five year career.
