With a new head coach and a young roster, the Seahawks head into the 2024 season with a lot of enthusiasm. The team will set off the new season with a Kickoff Week that will lead into Sunday's game against the Denver Broncos at Lumen Field.
The Throwback Uniforms will be back this week when the Seahawks wear them to take on the Denver Broncos on Sunday.
The full week of festivities will start off on Tuesday, September 3, when the Seahawks host an exclusive event for media and influencers in the new T-Mobile Endzone, showcasing the latest menu items coming to Lumen Field this season. Fans will get to experience the new food options at the game on Sunday.
The next day on September 4, the team will host a back-to-school assembly with appearances by Blitz, Blue Thunder and Seahawks Legends.
On Thursday, September 5, the Seahawks will host a Block Party for the 12s at Amazon Day 1 Playfield in South Lake Union from 8 a.m. – 2 p.m. The party will include appearances by Blitz, Seahawks Legends and Seahawks Dancers as well as games like skee-ball, putt putt golf, photo-ops, shopping at a Seahawks Pro Shop pop-up and giveaways.
Heading into the weekend, Blue Friday Night Lights presented by Oberto will be back this season and kicks off September 6 with a double-header at Seattle Memorial Stadium with special appearances by , Blitz, Blue Thunder, and Seahawks players. EA Madden will have their Gaming Cruiser on site for fans to check out pregame.
With the Throwback Uniforms in mind and staying in the 90s theme, Sunday's halftime show will feature a special performance by Tag Team & DJ Kool, presented by Coke Zero Sugar. Tag Team is best known for the 90s hit, "Whoomp! (There it is)."
