The Seahawks announced Tuesday that they have parted ways with Brian Schottenheimer, who has served as the team's offensive coordinator for the past three seasons.
"Brian Schottenheimer is a fantastic person and coach and we thank him for the last three years. Citing philosophical differences, we have parted ways," the Seahawks announced in a statement.
In 2020, the Seahawks finished eighth in the league in scoring at 28.7 points per game and 17th in total offense, averaging 369.5 yards per game. Seattle's 2020 point total was the highest in franchise history.
