CINCINNATI—The Seahawks elevated receiver Cody Thompson from the practice squad ahead of Sunday's game against the Bengals, his second straight week being elevated from the practice squad.
Additionally, cornerback Coby Bryant was placed on injured reserve. Bryant, Seattle's nickel cornerback last season, has missed the past two games due to a toe injury, and had already been ruled out for Sunday's game, and when asked about the cornerback's injury on Friday, Seahawks coach Pete Carroll said, "it might be a while" until he's back.
Thompson, who started the season on the 53-man roster, has appeared in all four games this season playing primarily on special teams, and he recorded his first career catch, a 10-yard reception, in Seattle's Week 4 win over the Giants.
Seahawks players and staff depart from the Virginia Mason Athletic Center and fly with Delta Airlines to face off against the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 6.
