With training camp beginning next week, the Seahawks placed seven players on the physically unable to perform list, including starting right tackle Abraham Lucas, who had knee surgery following the end of last season, and linebackers Jerome Baker and Tyrel Dodson.
Also placed on the PUP list are cornerback Lance Boykin, safety Jerrick Reed II, linebacker Drake Thomas and nose tackle Cameron Young.
The Seahawks also placed five players on the non-football injury list, guard Anthony Bradford, linebacker Easton Gibbs, cornerback D.J. James, cornerback Nehemiah Pritchett and receiver Dee Williams.
Players placed on both the PUP and non-football injury list before training camp can return at any time during training camp and the preseason, whereas players still on those lists following the cutdown to 53 players ahead of the regular season opener must miss four games before being eligible to return. In other words, a player going on one of those lists before camp doesn't necessarily mean he will be out long.
