The Seahawks re-signed receiver Darece Roberson only two days after releasing the receiver out of Wayne State University.
Roberson, who went undrafted in 2020, first signed with the Seahawks prior to the start of training camp, but was waived on Tuesday as part of several roster moves made that day. Cornerback Bryan Mills, an undrafted rookie out of North Carolina Central, was waived to make room on the 90-man roster.
Roberson, who is 5-foot-9, 170 pounds, averaged 21.4 yards per catch in 2018 and 20.8 yards per catch in 2019 for Wayne State, and also became the second player in school history to score touchdowns on both kick and punt returns. After going undrafted in 2020, Roberson signed with Arizona this spring, then was waived in May.
