The Seahawks signed center Brad Lundblade to their practice squad, bringing back a player who was with the team in training camp this year. Quarterback Danny Etling was released to make room on the practice squad.

Lundblade, initially signed with Seattle after going undrafted out of Oklahoma State in 2018, then spent that season on Cincinnati's practice squad. He spent 2019 with Carolina, appearing in one game after being promoted from the practice squad late in the season, then he finished the year on the Jets' practice squad.

The Seahawks brought Lundblade back during the 2020 season, signing him to the practice squad in November, then signed him to a future contract after the season. After spending camp and the preseason with the Seahawks, Lundblade was waived prior to the start of the regular season.

Etling, a 2018 seventh-round pick out of LSU, spent last season on the practice squad, was waived early in training camp this year, then was re-signed to the practice squad earlier this month. The Seahawks recently added more depth at quarterback by claiming Jacob Eason off of waivers last week.
