Ahead of Sunday's matchup against the Minnesota Vikings, Seahawks signed quarterback Jaren Hall from the practice squad. Starting quarterback Geno Smith left last Sunday's game with a knee injury but has been a full practice participant this week. Head coach Mike Macdonald said, "I wouldn't think he would tell you he's 100 percent, but he's done everything he possibly can to be ready to go and be in a good frame of mind going into the game, but I'm not sure if and how it will show up."

The Seahawks also activated Artie Burns from the practice squad. Burns was activated from injured reserve for last Sunday's matchup against the Packers, after being on injured reserve since October.

Trevis Gipson was placed on injured reserve. Gipson has been a healthy scratch for every game since Week 6 against the 49ers but suffered an ankle injury in practice this week.
